Maybe you're very creative, maybe it's escapism because you're discontent. For me it's ADD and when faced with a task that is uninteresting and requires mental energy I zone out. Forcing myself to focus is very taxing. Try the pomodoro method, 15min study 5min break or some such thing.

4kanal - too nuts, bot-infested and disgusting, KC - too Igor, this place - too slow, Dvach - too off-limits for non-Russians. In the end, I think I prefer 4kanal, simply for the fact that it's got more activity, across all boards (x, sp, mu, pol, adv etc.).
