I visited an old silver-lead mine that operated from about 1880s-1920s. It was interesting. They dug a hole 140m deep!!! I was too scared to go very close to it even though it had railings. They also processed and smeltered the ore.
There was a buildings that ground up the ore and separated it from other things, then there was a buildings that baked the ore to remove other things from it and then there was another building that turned it into silver-lead Bullion, then people with donkeys took the bullion to a nearby port and they shipped it off to where it needed to go.
