Why won't Rowling write anymore Harry Potter bokos? btw finished rereading the series a few days ago. she's a murderer in the last one but it was entertaining. HP is over.
You need Jesus in your life.
If I had as much money as her, I wouldn't want to work anymore either. Enjoy life, shitpost on twitter, disenfranchise your fanbase, I'd probably do the exact same thing as her.
eh I respect that she ends the series and it's done. A lot of people would just milk it forever.
>>22890 In his case I think he has an end of the series in mind but is just too lazy to do it :DD
>>22890 >>22891 He's truly a Bernd.
>>22878 they are going to milk it with the new series
>>22875 >If I had as much money as her, I wouldn't want to work anymore top question though what would you do, Bernd? I mean in broader sense: if you had your needs covered (for you, and your offspring, and everything for your mundane necessities, etc.) what would you do with you life? again, after women, booze, drugs, games is covered - what!? - what would you go for?
From what I can remember I got tired of the series in the last 2 books and was happy when it was over. Imagine if it went the star wars route and have 7 books prequel and then 7 books sequel. This would just destroy the originals.
>>22909 >what would you do with you life? Van life for half a decade. Travel the world in a top of the line camper van. Alternatively do the same with a sail boat.
>>22909 I'd start a company that makes films and video games and focus on things that are not necessarily profitable but are interesting.
>>22872 >Why won't Rowling write anymore Harry Potter bokos? Because she has done her job getting the youth into occultism.
>>22924 Werent there enough Christians already?
More noble to fight with troons on twitter.
>>22924 I wish I was part of such a group, sounds badass
I feel that harry Potter was very interesting in the first 2 or 3 books, it was a world full of mystery. Then the story started to be about some meesianic fight against evil and racism and she never fleshed out things.
>>22938 Like for example, the economy, how magic actually works- harry himself is not interested in this and is actually quite incomoetent-, how adult wizard life is. If you remove Voldemort there is no underlying conflicts or questions in their worlds.
>>22940 their economy operates by elf slavery t. OP
>>22944 i mean "NOT OP"! I don't know what went into me!
I liked the books when i've red them back as a child. I also really liked the movies. I startet to rewatch the movies and the first 2 still hold up, after that the quality drops a lot because he child actors are now in an age where they're expected to be good at acting and with the exception with that redhead kid they all suck. But it's still a cash machine, i bought Warne Brothers stock after reading that they plan to make a show and i'm up 100% now (for other reasons).
>>22940 People seem to expect far too much from a children's book.
>>22950 Didnt know the bible is a childrens book that it makes a lot of sense.
>>22944 I thought goblins controlled their currency?
>create world full of magic >One character becomes a cop, the other becomes a government worker
>>22963 the wizarding world uses commodity money in the form of physical coins, how could goblins control anything
I liked it pretty much, the books and the movies. The books are far superior tho. I didn't like the change with movie 3 that they wear normal teenage clothes, the colouring of the film changed and much more. It didn't feel like a magic world anymore like in the first two movies. Last movie is garbage, book is ok tho. Just too much action and shit.
only the first four books were good anyway
>>22934 Hop over to the X-File threda for occultism and love
Last I heard, she writes crime novels but under a different nym. Open secret kind of thing.
>>22872 She doesn't have money problems anymore.
>>22994 It was only a secret until a couple of months after the first book. The "Cormorant Strike" series by her pen name Robert Galbraith now has eight novels. Kinda interesting how new authors never seem to learn from established authors not to use their real names from the start. Probably some pride thing that only becomes a burden later in life and only for those who actually have success.
>>22872 >Why won't Rowling write anymore Harry Potter bokos? Because luckily she's intelligent enough to know when to quit.
>>22977 They control the issuing of the coin and banks.
>>23001 Since wizard Britain uses a different currency from muggle Britain, while not having a central bank or ministry of economy (that would set monetary policy in the absence of a central bank), we must assume that private goblins run banks such as Gringotts issue currency and have a reserve, probably through a deal with the ministry.
