it Bernd 2025-11-13 22:01:50 No. 22385
I bought a bottle of this. What should I expect?
It's like sangria, but less fruity. Also, if it's the one I think it is, it will be unbearably sweet.
>>22385 Make it hot and drink it in the cold.
>>22385 >I bought a bottle of this How come? Also, did you buy it in Italy?
>>22394 Just curious, I want to see what passes for vin brulé on the Germany. >Also, did you buy it in Italy? Yeah, they have it at Lidl.
They have it here too. Its ok. Its spiced wine, so its different from wine you are used to. It should be drunk hot or cold, and has a syrupy quality to it. The syrupy texture is why it is better hot or cold.
>>22396 >Yeah, they have it at Lidl. They have [nationality] week here too, only wtih stuff like Japanese, Greek, Italian... Guess it's fair to sell German stuff in other countries.
Mandatory post: There's a song about Lidl (among other things): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4kBcm-ls8Y Afrikan Boy -One day I went to Lidl
>>22396 >vin brulé That sounds so cultivated. Bernd will remember it.
Also bought a bottle of it yesterday to drink it with my female colleague in the office today :3

>>22429 oh la la we have a Don Juan here
>>22413 Fantastic. We also have Lidl lore, video related. Basically the gypsies were caught again going through their trash, so the employees decided to lock them in for a few minutes and have a bit of fun :DD
I bought a bottle last week. But then it got slightly warmer around here and I lost the mood for it. >>22387 The Christkindl is sweet, yes. But not unbearable imho. I had one of the 1.5l cheapo Tetra-Pack ones 2 weeks ago, that was much sweeter. But its nothing that a shot of rum or whiskey can't cure.
>>22499 Also: I second >>22423 will use that in the future.
The first now has arrived, but I am not afraid. I will venture to lidl to buy friday beer.
Damn I drank one cup today and already got a bit drunk, I'm really not used to alco

>>22573 Update from me: Also just opened the bottle and I remembered right. Not as sweet as the Tetra-Pack one, also I think it has more juice (orange) in it, also more juice (alc%). >>22573 Are you also as lazy as me and just put a mug in the microwave?
Glühwein always reminds me of the evening when Bernd drank it, ate a steak with beer sauce and read Unteralterbach.
>>22579 >Are you also as lazy as me and just put a mug in the microwave? That's the patrician way.
>>22599 Unteralterbach reminds me that it was the last thing I played before I permanently destroyed my last laptop with with my big toe and a loose plug.
>>22579 >just put a mug in the microwave Totally fine for solo vin brulé. If you serve a few guests, then a proper pot on the oven is the way.
>>22643 >A few guests lel, I drink such bottle in one sitting (alone).
>>22385 >What should I expect? Headaches from cheap alcohol with added sugar.
>>22689 Not everyone can be as savage as you. Some people can only drink in the company of others. Other people only drink at the company they work at. Everyone is different, but they all drink.
>>22701 A lot of people don't drink actually.
>>22702 But the ones who drink do.
It's bad wine but tastes OK because all the added crap. Not the worst headache juice, but worse than most wine.
>>22506 I guess you don't get Perlenbacher Strong 7.9% in Funland Lidl because the alcoholic type of fun is very strictly regulated? It costs, just to make you jealous, I think 0.65€ on the Germany.
