Easy! Helmut obviously doesn't give a single shit about anything non-technical over on Kohl, especially moderation. So why would he found a new board, which is moderated and has it's software further developed, without the bugfixes and improvements going back into the official repository? Seems like this would be double the effort for not much gain to me.
