Why do you think Bernds are so hateful and insulting? They always argue in bad faith.
Bernd doesn't even reply to my threads...
>>10172 It's one thread you didn't get any replies to, no? And sorry, but what should I reply? I didn't really get the purpose of your thread.
>>10173 Also my thread about Moriya shrines nuclear weapons programme. Bernd is rude.

>>10172 >>10174 Probably few Bernds here who share your specific niche interests. I know your pain.
>>10176 I'm not into Touhou, but I guess it can't be considered a niche interet among Bernds.
>>10172 We all know that feel of a thread going to page 10 uncommented.
>>10176 >>10177 Maybe they don't like Nuclear weapons or iron.
Your thinking of kohlchaners not Bernds.

>>10197 Just look in the Kirk thread on here or any other political thread for that matter.
>>10207 I mean I called a bernd a retard in another thread but I apologized first. It's just how I talk. but I love good argumentation and srs discussions.
>>10170 >They always argue in bad faith. And never apologize when they're proven wrong. Or at least admit their mistake.
Tone is difficult to convey in written text, yet fundamental in spoken language. People generally tend to read any given sentence as much more aggressive than the author intends. At the same time, we live in an environment where almost any discussion you have with another person, serious or otherwise, is governed first and foremost by the framework of there being a winner and a loser. And you don't wanna be a loser, do you? so you have to claw back to emerge victorious. Most of the time people don't really have serious or consistent beliefs about anything in particular, but when discussing things will fall into a position and then try to defend it to "win" and at that point it doesn't even matter if they know, care, or even agree with what they're saying. It's all about not getting owned.
I love Bernds too much to be mean, this place is pure love so far.
>>10376 LOL, he loves unwashed fat nerds (me), the homo.
>>10370 >Tone is difficult to convey in written text true, that's all the practical guides to business communication tell be extra polite in business emails and texts. serious, proven by my experience that an innocuous phrase may sound extremely rude if you don't 'please' or 'could you' here and there
