I think there is a bit of variation in class but yes there really isn't much and it kind of doesn't matter. It's more about what skills they have an how they pair with other characters. I don't use Melle but maybe I should, it just feels weird to use melee in a game like that. Campaign is still easy. I haven't finished it though.

Krolik felt as weak as Cheetah but Ulrid is fun when you accumulate her "points" so she can attack trice in a row. It's not like Krolik or Cheetah are useless in my opinion but a lot of enemies tend to have fire resistance which makes them perform worse. Maybe the reason is players tend to have more flame characters from the beginning.

Ehh, I actually have the characters I want at the moment really, the game is pretty generous and also there aren't that many characters to roll for anyway and I don't want the three current event ones. I have Tololo, she gets two actions a turn if she has full points(which she starts with at the beginning of a battle).

I have decided that I am going to buy and play Hollow Knight Silk Song. Not because I care about the game(I have not even played the first one) but because I feel like supporting the South Australian video games industry.

Silk Song is actually a pretty cool game. When I opened the game it said I should be using a controller, I ignored it and I was doing quite well but know that I have unlocked sprint/dash I am struggling to use it as I would like, I think I will need to use a controller.

Also I came to the realisation that actually I don't have any connection to any other part of Australia but where I live in SA anyway. My ancestors never lived in Victoria or NSW or any other state but SA. I have no connection to them, I have more of a connection to England as at least my ancestors were from there. I also hate Australia and it's biosphere in general. But at least I live in this bit so have a connection to it and hate it less than other bits.

South Australian traditional architecture is brick and sandstone but Victorian traditional architecture is those southern USA looking white wooden skate houses or Victorian era London industrial brick. Also SA was settled by free people not convicts and there is also a lot more Irish infusion in Victoria(much of it through said convicts). There is probably a bunch more that I missed about why Victoria is uncivilised too.

>>10446 There's mods that can turn it into action RPG combat like Dark Souls, but as I always play a full mage in TES, these never really appealed to me so I just use Apocalypse Spells, College Quest Expansion and Ordinator Perk Overhaul for a proper mage experience. I also think some of the custom followers like Xelzaz are very impressive with their reactive commentary, giving a bit more roleplay depth to the game. I keep coming back to both Morrowind and Skyrim but could never really get into Oblivion, setting is just so bland.

Since the game is entering its later stages, they are regularly giving away some free stuff, some exclusively for newer players, but also some free basic characters, which have fallen off in the meta by now, to make them a little more relevant. For a new player, Mona is a great addition, since otherwise there is only Barbara for Hydro, who is just a mediocre healer, while Mona has good hydro application, is a good support and also her dash gimmick is a nice to have bonus, unless you have better options available like Mavuika, Xilonen or Furina. Arguably, her ability to distract/temporarily disable opponents with her skill and burst are just as helpful as a healer, since she prevents damage in first place. Also dat Mon-ass!

Not sure if you know it, but you can dash over water with her, that's helpful in the beginning, but also a source of suicide when your stamina runs out while you're still on deep waters. Also opponents can't hit you while dashing. She's a bit of a ninja with her skillset.
