il Bernd 2025-09-14 19:50:59 Nr. 10349
I'm not a misogynistic person, I don't hate women. But every day I'm downright baffled by how women can write something like this and think it's okay? How can they create a dating profile- a "postcard" that summarizes them - and they write the most cringe shit possible?
>>10349 Bernds profile is pretty lame, too. Most people just aren't that interesting. >>10396 I had a date two months ago and I was stupid and had pretty old pictures and afterwards she said I don't look like the pictures and that was it. So yes, it's stupid and I don't do it anymore.
>>10447 How old were you photos? I'm even using Photoshop under my eye bags.
>>10473 7-8 years old. I was too lazy to make new ones and don't take online dating seriously anyway, so I stuck with them not expecting to go on a date eventually.
Maybe they are trying to be ironic? Probably more like: >expecting women to make sense idk fam, it makes me think of the “why do I keep doing this to myself” mene
>>10502 This is insane Bernd. Almost a decade old photos.
>>10504 Yeah, but I didn't think it would actually lead to anything. I don't send any first messages and just browse it when I'm bored.
>>10502 I can understand her point of view. If someone tries to swindle by using old pics he will certainly be dishonest in other areas too. Why do you even use old pics of yourself? Be transparent and open or at least mention that they're old pics. I'm a manlet and never added a cm of height in my profile and was clear that I'm short but mentioned my positive attributes too. That way only people who don't mind write to you. One was a bit taller and communicated that beforehand (none of us minded).
>>10526 Do you take lots of fotos of yourself? I've been using the same photo a former employer took for passport/application photos. Last year, I noticed that it's from 2017 lmao. Doesn't need to be done with bad intentions. Also, regarding dating, I was once in the opposite side and I had to make the choice of either being butthurt about her looking her age or just saying fuck and enjoy the evening. I chose the latter because what good is the former? Not that I'd blame anyone for I'm being butthurt, but it was my choice.
>>10530 >Do you take lots of fotos of yourself? No...but sometimes other people do and it's better than anything I'd take myself. But even if that weren't the case I'd still use somewhat current pictures. >just saying fuck and enjoy the evening Would have probably done the same. Even a nice conversation can be good. The other Bernd said the photo comment came afterwards, after the date? I was under the impression it was the same case as yours (reversed).
>>10546 Liking dogs is also a main element of my personality (after travelling and laughing).
>>10550 But what about living and loving?
>>10554 Only if there is also praying and pumpkin spice lattes.
I have never had a pumpkin latte, that doesn't sound nice...

>>10557 Ikr? Sounds digusting.
>>10557 >>10559 Are you aware that pumpkin spice isn't pumpkin-flavoured spice but rather the kind of spice you put in a pumpkin pie? Tastes a bit like European Christmas stuff.
>>10596 What spices? Also why not just call them by what they are?
>>10600 I don't know exactly, but I'm pretty sure cinnamon is the main one. I prefer pumpkin pie over spiced coffee though.
>>10600 Some things are named after their parts/contents and others after their purpose. A sheepdog is a dog for shepherding, not a sheep that's also a dog.
>>10601 So kind of like a chai latte? I think they are nice so maybe this would be okay. >>10602 Or maybe Sheepdog comes from Sheepherdingdog...
>>10603 Isn't chai just Indian tea and chai latte is just tea with milk? Never had one. >>10602 See also: olive oil vs. baby oil.
>>10604 Chai is tea in several languages so I assumed the same as you but no, actually it's like a latte but with milk and cinnamon instead of coffee. You should try one.
>>10605 tea and cinnamon I mean, not milk and cinnamon though it has milk.
>>10603 > So kind of like a chai latte? I think they are nice so maybe this would be okay. This here container says cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, pimento/allspice, cardamom
>>10602 In german it's called "Schäferhund" though, which directly translates to "shepherd dog", and even if it were calls "Schafshund" it would only imply a dog kinda looking like a sheep or something; a dog that is also a sheep is pretty much impossible. It's not impossible however, to have a spice made from pumpkin. So yeah, your assessment is wrong and english is a shit language.
>>10617 >In german it's called "Schäferhund" though And this is /int/, with me typing in English. >english is a shit language. Feel free to post on /b/
>>10619 There are also more than enough dog breeds that are called "shepherd" in english. No reason to be so smug if your command of english seems to not be the yellow from the egg.
>>10617 >>10619 >>10621 This argument would work better with wolfhound/wolfshund
>>10621 Sheep dogs aren't a breed. They are like gun dogs, it's a dog that does a certain thing(though they usually are from a group of breeds).
>>10624 Wait, so "shepherds" aren't actually all bred to herd sheep?
>>10626 Probably maybe(or at least protect them) But not all sheep dogs are shepherds, in Australia we mainly use Border Collies.

>>10626 How many dachshunds (Dackel) do you think are used to hunt badgers these days?
>>10627 True indeed. Well, I frankly don't know enough about dog breeds to be able to talk about what each of them do.
>>10627 Then what did you make Australian shepherds for?
>>10628 I am not sure what you are getting at; the Dackel was never bred specifically to hund badgers, and if you had read the Wikipedia article you'd know that the german term Dachshund rather refers to its size than to its purpose. That said, I don't think they still use dachshunds to hund badgers at all; sometimes they still use them to drive foxes out of their holes.
>>10636 You are wrong, they were bred to hunt badgers, foxes, rabbits etc in their burrows.
>>10635 I don't know, I had never even heard of them until they were posted in this thread.
>>10638 That's why I wrote "specifically to hunt badgers", with the "specifically" being the important part here. Foxes were always the main focus.
I would like to apologize. I am already aggressively assburgering again; it's a bad habit I wanted to get rid of. Please accept this happy negro as an apology.
>>10526 >Why do you even use old pics of yourself? As I said I didn't take it seriously and didn't expect someone to be interested at all. >>10548 Yes, it was after the date. The date was sometimes quite awkward, too, because we were both very introverted and at times we just sat there in silence for minutes.
>>10557 You are missing on a millennial core woman experience, like American apparel Megan fox 2009 bodysuit.
It's over for me. I reached the utmost bottom, I'm using LLMs to pursue horniness.
>>10651 What's he so happy about?
